I am going to move from Mozilla Firefox to chrome due to high memory consumption by Mozilla because in my browsers atleast i open 7-10 tab  average some times it’s go high that cause high memory consumption frequently Mozilla Firefox getting not responding.  i also used RAMBACK Mozilla Add-on RAMBack will cause Firefox to issue an internal notification to free up memory that is otherwise held for performance purposes.

I think google chrome also do this they have a option for killing unresponsive page also i want check how chrome works because i started using Mozilla from early stage of it. and google chrome developed recently but it now better than Mozilla with lot of extensions. because it’s owned google they have lot of support staff resources and experienced engineers than Mozilla because it’s a foundation and Non profit organization.

how to import bookmarks from Firefox to chrome?

export bookmarks from Firefox

  1. Click the Bookmarks button on the right side of the navigation toolbar and select Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window.
  2. From the toolbar on the Library window, click Import and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML….
  3. In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work.
  4. Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
  5. Close the Library window.

Your bookmarks are now successfully exported from Firefox. The bookmarks HTML file you saved is now ready to be imported into another web browser.

  3. Select Import bookmarks and settings.
  4. Select the program that contains the bookmarks you’d like to import.

  7. Open your saved HTML file.
