you can change WordPress domain name by two easy ways.

change WordPress site url From WordPress dashboard

1. WordPress dashboard>>general settings>> WordPress site Address & Site URL Replace with New domain.
2. Then Theme & some installed files with Old domain May load perfectly. then Login to WordPress dashboard again.
3. install better search replace plugin and replace the old domain with the new domain but carefully because you cannot revert back.
4. Now your New website loads perfectly.

change WordPress site URL PHPMyAdmin or database

You may also change WordPress site URL from phpmyadmin. if you unable to login to WordPress dashboard.

Databse>>wp-options table>> site address first line>> change it to your new domain.

 

 

You can also change domain name wp-config.php

add this code above that’s al;l stop editing.

 

If you theme components not loading then add the below to your active theme function.php

 

or you can activate new and reactivate existing one can also helps to fix the problem.

2. replace with yourdomain.com.
3. on previous website directory, Add a 301  redirect code in haccess
4. simple code Redirect 301 / https://ur.com
5. wildcard redirect
6. Use Permalink finder Plugin wf wildcard redirection not works.
7. Install better search replace Plugin: to change old URL to New URL In database:
8. Remove w3total cache plugin define in wp-config.php
