Which Factors effects the Performance of Computer speed?

RAM / Memory:  More RAM Means more power but adding extra RAM to low end processor not worth (we have to upgrade memory when the average use of memory above 70% .  if less than or equal to 50% no need upgrade RAM).
Disc Space HDD/SDD I/O rate: Generally, some free space required to run system smoothly.  when you disk usage is 100% then you have free up the space. reasons there is no enough space for temporary caching (i don’t know exact mechanism).
Processor:
Clock Speed: above 2.5GHZ is better for now 2GHZ ok below it not considerable.
Cores: All Quadcore Systems are dual core basically, (but based on Generation it supports multithreading, turbo boost technology etc)
i5 2nd gen laptops also have 2 cores. but i7 processors have 3 to 4 cores.
Multithreading:  i5 Processors doesn’t support Multithreading but i3 and i7 supports.
Cache Size:  based on L3 Cache Size system performs well. more cache size means more relative processing Power. (this is the reason why i5 processor outperforms i3 processor).
ScreeSize: 14-15 for business purose.

Turbo Boost Technology by Intel:

With Turbo boost technology a 2.5 GHZ processor can run maximum at 3GHZ speed.

Core i3 Processors Evaluation up to 6th

i3 processor generation comparison

Nehalem 1st generation: better than previous versions .

sandy bridge 2nd generation: faster than Nehalem and drew less power more cache size

Ivy bridge 3rd generation: adding some feature decrease power usage upto 30-50%. more power

Haswell 4th Generation: Supports multithreading.

Intel i3 6th generation processor: 4MB cache Size , 3.9 GHZ processor, 14nm technology, 2 cpu cores and 4 threads. multithreading with

turbo boost technology.i3-6320 processor.

Intel i5 processors Generation comparison

i5 6th Gen processor: 3.5 GHZ speed with turbo boost it can increase up to 3.9GHZ. Cache Size 6 MB. 4 Cpu Cores and 4 Threads. No Multithreading.

i5 6600 processor.

Intel i7 processors Generation comparison

  • i7-6900K  (Cache Size 20 , Speed @ 3.2GHZ, Cores 8, threads 16,)
  • i7-6850K  (Cache Size  15, Speed @ 3.6GHZ, Cores 6, threads 12,)
  • i7 -6800K  (Cache Size 15 , Speed @ 3.4 GHZ, Cores 6, threads 12,)

6th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-6100U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.30 GHz)
6th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-6200U Processor (3MB Cache, up to 2.80 GHz)
6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-6500U Processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.10 GHz)

I5 3 cores

Cache SIZE

cache size decrease interaction to the RAM.  RAM can decrease the interaction with hard disk.  I/o rate.

I3 cache size 3-4MB
I5 4-6
I7 8MB.

Threads

I3 & i7 processors can support multi threading but i5 doesn’t support multi threading.
Multithreading refers to i3 have 2 cores it can manage 2*2=4 threads.
thread means 1task in layman language.

I7 processors has Intel turbo boost technology.
